Biography

Born in Tennessee and raised in Germany to an Air Force family, Kristen Quintrall attended Florida State University’s film school. Not content to learn just one aspect, Kristen focused her efforts on acting, writing, editing and directing. Upon graduation and a series of crazy coincidences, she packed her things and moved to Los Angeles. Her first professional job was the head of editorial for Channel Records (a division of Interscope) creating music videos and web-based promotional content. Her move into narrative film came in 2006 when she set up shop at indie studio The Asylum.

At The Asylum she stepped in front of the camera with starring roles in the films The Apocalypse, Transmorphers, and Universal Soldiers. The Asylum led her to work directly for comic mastermind Jerry Zucker as his personal editor. From there she moved to Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures cutting web based versions of films like The Grudge 2. In early 2008 she got a three picture deal with SyFy, and moved to Lafayette, Louisiana to star in Quantum Apocalypse, Cyborg Conquest and The Dunwich Horror. Immediately after, she set up shop again in Los Angeles, CA and has since filmed movies with Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Hemky Madera (Weeds),  Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs) and most recently filming with Kristy Swanson (Buffy) and Kevin Sorbo (Hercules).
